After Shavedown, What can Happen and What to Expect

Sometimes a dog has to be shaved down for various reasons. It happens! I am not a groomer than enjoys shaving your dog's beautiful coat. If you aren't happy, I'm not happy but sometimes, we have to reset and start over. After shavedowns, there can be redness and itchiness depending on the severity of the matting in your dog's coat. Some dogs will shiver, hide, or even be overly excited because they feel so much better! Typically they will be back to their normal self within a couple of days.
